These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BetterHuman ("Better Human," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, applications, community spaces (collectively, "The Milliseconds"), and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Better Human. By using the Service you represent that you can enter into a binding agreement and that you are not barred from using the Service under applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@betterhuman.life if you suspect unauthorized access.

Provide accurate information and keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to other members.

Better Human is a practice space for real-time pattern interruption. To keep it safe and useful for everyone, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other members.
• Post unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or violent content.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Scrape, mine, or otherwise extract data from the Service.
• Disrupt the Service or attempt to access it through unauthorized means.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited marketing or spam.

You retain ownership of the content you submit ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content you grant Better Human a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and display it solely to operate and improve the Service.

You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

Some parts of the Service may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cadence, and renewal terms are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the paid period.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Better Human is an educational and community service. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. If you are in crisis or need professional support, please contact a qualified provider or your local emergency services.

The Service, including the BetterHuman name, logo, course content, and underlying software, is owned by Better Human or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service is no longer commercially reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Better Human and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we will give you reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
